Here comes the sun: Solarize 2017 Open for MA Cities and Towns
December 27, 2016
|The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) and DOER are seeking proposals from Massachusetts cities and towns to demonstrate local interest and engagement in participating in the 2017 Solarize Massachusetts program and 2017 Solarize Mass Plus multiple technology pilot program.
This program will drive community adoption of solar electricity projects through a partnership focused on localized marketing and installation efforts, which in turn help to drive down the installation cost of small-scale solar electricity installations within the selected communities. The Solarize Mass Plus pilot program seeks to pair the Solarize Mass model with an additional technology offering.
MassCEC and DOER will select up to 10 communities (or groups of communities) to participate in the 2017 Solarize Massachusetts program, and up to 2 communities (or groups of communities) to participate in the Solarize Mass Plus multiple technology pilot. MassCEC will accept applications from communities on a rolling basis until program funds have been fully allocated.
